Each year the City of Sarnia Parks and Recreation Department receives requests from individuals, service clubs, neighborhood groups and community organizations wishing to discuss the parameters and guidelines for the development and installation of new playground equipment and or replacement of playground equipment within City neighborhood and community parks.

This policy will provide staff with clear direction on how to effectively address inquiries and provide appropriate oversight and understanding of the approval process, partnership and cost-sharing funding opportunities, design standards, installation and administration responsibilities.

The following DRAFT Policies document and will be brought to Sarnia Council for formal adoption on September 10, 2018
